TRON Energy rental

Understand TRON Energy and Bandwidth, then check resources, the receiving address, rental duration and costs for your transaction.

What is TRX Energy rental?

Renting Energy obtains smart-contract computation resources on TRON. It is not a purchase of TRX or a transfer to the USDT recipient.

01

What is TRON Energy used for?

TRC-20 USDT transfers, swaps and other smart-contract operations commonly consume Energy. Ordinary TRX transfers mainly consume Bandwidth, which is a different resource.

02

What if Energy is insufficient?

Check the sending address's Energy and Bandwidth first. When resources are insufficient, the network may burn TRX from the sender's balance. Compare the cost of rented resources for your transaction.

03

Which address receives the Energy?

Enter the TRON wallet address that will send the transaction and needs Energy, not the USDT recipient's address. Only a public address is needed, never a private key or recovery phrase.

04

How do I choose resources and duration?

APP tiers depend on the USDT recipient: choose Tier 1 if they already hold USDT and Tier 2 if they do not. Tiers do not guarantee a transaction count; check estimated resource use and validity.

How does Energy rental work?

Check resources, the address and costs first. Once payment and delivery are enabled, verify resource arrival before sending your transaction.

  1. 01Check the sending address's resources and choose a tier and duration
  2. 02Verify the Energy receiving address, costs and validity
  3. 03When enabled, pay for the order and verify resource arrival

No. Check the transaction type, existing wallet resources and expected consumption, then compare resource options and costs. Ordinary TRX transfers and smart-contract operations have different requirements.
